The RS Group started its humble beginnings in April of 1988 as AGRM Services, primarily involved in the trading and contracting of road and landscape maintenance equipment. As the client base expanded, so did the original company and in January 1991, RS Machineries Sdn. Bhd. was incorporated to manufacture Malaysia’s first automated road line marking machine, as well as introducing an expanded range of products and services. The registered trademark has since enhanced the company’s portfolio, along with an aggressive export drive that introduced the company to the international market.

It is this ability to identify gaps in the market that forms the success of the company. It is no accident that the Company entered the sports turf sector in 1991, recognizing a future need. The poor surface conditions of most stadiums and other sporting facilities combined with an industry crying out for professional guidance precipitated The RS Group to find solutions to overcome these problems. This industry-led demand gave rise to “The RS Game Plan” which formed the blueprint for the development of GAT TECHNOLOGY. Little did we know, that the company would grow to be one of the most recognized and highly-respected providers of innovative turf solutions in the country.
