Futsal is a football game played on a hard court, smaller than a football pitch, and mainly indoors. Having a five a side team sport in a small court forces the players to adopt new strategies and be more creative about how they pass and tackle the ball. This causes many tumbles and intense movements, so the hardcourt must compensate for these impacts to ensure player safety.
