With a combined total of 65 years’ experience in the sports surface industry, our advisory services are based on knowledge and hands-on experience in construction, renovation, machinery and maintenance gained in Malaysia. Utilizing this immense store of information and technology, we provide services applicable to tropical and temperate climatic conditions.
We provide advisory services on all aspects of natural and synthetic turf establishments and maintenance, including diagnostic services, appropriate maintenance programs and surface performance.
We provide factual reports on existing grounds to evaluate its condition and make recommendations on upgrading work which could be a simple maintenance program or changing the fertilizer application.
The art and science of turf grass culture consists of 5 categories that is Soil, Grass, Water, Nutrition and Management to balance it.
Buildings and trees affect the air flow above the turf. These in return effect the concentration of water vapour in the air surrounding the grass, which stunts the growth of grass. This piece of equipment measures the humidity and the air flow.
For grass to grow photosynthesis is an important phenomenon, you need sufficient sunlight for the photosynthesis process to take effect. Shade can cause the grass to become stunted, and this piece of equipment we have here measures the intensity of light and the unit it measured in is called micromole. For example, Bermuda grass requires at least 500 micromoles for optimum growth.
For any grass to grow at its optimum level, the pH of the soil should be around 6 to 7. Acidic soil will hold back nutrients in the soil thus stunting the growth of the grass, therefore the growth will be more sparse and the density of the field will appear inconsistent.
The penetrometer is a handheld, professional compaction meter to locate and monitor the compaction levels in the soil/rootzone. Understanding the degree of compaction enables the right procedures to be taken to eliminate excessive compaction.
